SetCoat® Clear (formerly known as AquaSeal™) is a product designed to work specifically as an almost totally clear base coat for decorative finishing work, especially when using AquaCreme™ or AquaGlaze® and extended open time is important. When applied with caution, it also performs well as a barrier coat to seal in glazed finishes. Because SetCoat® Clear seals porous latex paint, it is the recommended product to use over previously painted walls when the original color will be utilized in the decorative finish.
